Newly established agroforestry system
The Climate Cooperative team walks through one of the recently planted agroforestry systems in the Amazon region. This system was planted ten months ago using nine-month-old nursery saplings, ensuring strong early survival rates.
Monitoring growth in Belem, Brazil
Senior ecologist Mike documents fruit development on a Climate Cooperative tree planted two years earlier. In the Belem region, growth rates are exceptionally strong, reflecting both biodiversity design and long-term soil recovery.
Founder-led field involvement

Local partnership and food security
In the early morning, the team was invited to a local farm for fresh pineapple, coconut, and mango grown within Climate Cooperative agroforestry systems. Farmers explained how these systems improve income stability and long-term resilience.
Nursery development and sapling preparation
Local farmers operate supported nurseries where seeds grow into saplings over six to nine months. Once strong enough, they are transplanted into agroforestry systems, significantly increasing survival probability.
Scalable local nursery operations
Nurseries vary in size. Some farmers plant 1,000 agroforestry systems annually, while others operate at capacities of up to 50,000. Climate Cooperative supports this decentralized growth model.

Dashboard for corporate clients
Corporate clients can create certified carbon offset certificates from this dashboard. Carbon debits can be purchased and/or agroforestry systems can be acquired. Systems generate carbon debits over a 20-year period, while direct purchase of carbon debits is available for immediate use.
Purchasing carbon debits
Carbon debits are purchased via our payment provider Stripe and are credited to the account. Each transaction is recorded in a verifiable audit trail. Carbon debits can be used to generate certificates.
Certificate list with tree-level contribution
List of issued certificates. A distinctive feature of Climate Cooperative is that every tree’s contribution is visible here. Each kilogram of impact can be proven and viewed in the satellite map.
CSRD-aligned impact reports
Official CSRD-aligned reports can be generated from this page, based on purchased carbon debits, issued certificates, and/or impact systems held in the account.
Transfers between accounts
Assets can be transferred between existing Business Portal accounts. Impact systems, carbon debits, and certificates can be transferred to other accounts. Once a certificate is issued, its description is permanently recorded and cannot be altered, ensuring transparency and proof.

Impact systems held in the account can be tracked here in satellite or map view. You can see exactly where they are located, which tree species they include, and related details.

Verification is attributable per impact system (tree), not just per project.
Most projects verify at project level and report impact through aggregated estimates. We register and monitor each impact system (tree) as an individual unit, so impact can be attributed, traced, and verified at the impact system (tree) level.

CO₂ and certificate management
Users can create certificates and drive impact using generated carbon debits. Sproutly offers two types of impact trees: upgradeable impact units that yield carbon debits (gamified impact), and game trees that do not generate carbon debits but are used in the Sproutly game. Game trees are not for financial gain – purely impact for the planet – and can be used in the mobile game.
Community governance
The community has a say in the direction of Sproutly. Proposals can be submitted and put to a vote. Voting weight is tied to impact: the more impact you have, the stronger your voice. Impact-based governance, as it should be.
Ecosystem tiers
Sproutly is fully gamified and offers an immersive experience on multiple levels. Users can progress through the ecosystem by earning higher tiers, unlocking faster rewards, greater voting weight, and more.
